Er kam, um seine Panther zu treffen, und um sein Buch vorzustellen.

Zuerst wurde unser Ex-Panther Juniorenmeister und 2-facher Super Bowl Champ Sebastian von unserem Oberbürgermeister Thomas Geísel eingeladen.

Natürlich hat er ihm auch sein Buch vorgestellt und überreicht.

Vertreter von Alumni Panther e.V., dem Verein der Ehemaligen der Düsseldorf Panther, konnten ihm dann auch endlich persönlich die Urkunde für seine Ehrenmitgliedschaft bei den Veteranen und seinen Mitgliedsausweis übergeben.

Diese Ehre wurde ihm schon 2015 zuteil und er bedankte sich bei allen Veteranen dafür.

Er will sich in Zukunft auch mehr in diese Gemeinschaft, der er jetzt natürlich auch angehört, mehr einbringen.

Ab 17:00 Uhr stand er dann im Café Europa von Ex-Panther Christian Poschmann seinen Ehemaligen Mitspielern und den Panther Fans zur Verfügung.

Ein riesen Andrang schon Stunden vor dem Termin.

Wir sahen einen sehr netten und höflichen Jungen Mann, der sich im Kreise seiner Fans sichtlich wohlfühlte und unermüdlich Autogramme in sein Buch, auf Fotos, Jerseys und Helme schrieb, bis ihm fast die Hand abfiel. Selfies mit fast allen Gästen kamen hinzu.

Bei unserem Gespräch heute bedankt er sich noch einmal für den tollen Empfang in Düsseldorf und hat versprochen, im nächsten Jahr mal zu einem Spiel nach Düsseldorf zu kommen.

Er schließt auch nicht aus, vor allem zum Training eines unserer Jugend-Teams zu kommen und ein paar Tipps zu geben.-

Wir würden uns alle sehr darüber freuen.
